We can all appreciate interesting dirt bike videos, even silly ones, but we have to question the Lamborghini Dirt Bike Jump video posted by YouTuber Carter Sharer.
Sharer describes his Carter Sharer YouTube channel this way: “My brother Stephen Sharer and I love to make awesome vlogs together and we will be posting more epic vlogs on my channel!” Sharer and his brother post a lot of silly stunts and gags in an effort to attract as many followers as possible–nothing new there. It’s pretty much what has made YouTube the brand that it is, right?
But this particular stunt leaves us a little in doubt that Sharer actually did what he said he was going to do. Sure, he jumps his Honda four-stroke MXer, and sure, there is a beautiful Lamborghini Gallardo parked near Sharer’s jump ramp (well, beautiful in form anyway–we’re not wild about his preferred color choice). It’s clear that Sharer is no Robbie Maddison when it comes to epic dirtbike stunts, but still, risking thousands of dollars worth of damage to your Italian exotic car just to thrill a few people who probably won’t kick in a dime to help you fix it if you end up dropping through the center of its convertible top and rearranging the interior doesn’t seem worth it to us.
Any maybe it didn’t seem worth it to Shearer either. While the Lamborghini video clip clearly shows Shearer getting enough air to clear the car, we’re a bit suspicious of the ramp’s actual prxomity to the Lamborghini. Call it an optical illusion, but it appears that the reality of the scene is that Sharer jumped behind, and not over, the Lamborghini, thus sparing it of any damage if things didn’t go as planned.
At any rate, judge for yourself. It’s a dirt bike and a Lamborghini, two vehicles that probably don’t appear in the same video very often. But is it a Lamborghini dirt bike jump video? We doubt it.
