8. 1969 Bultaco El Bandito 360
\
Bultaco is a brand that evokes a lot of passion. For all its success in the World Trials Championship, the Spanish company never won a world motocross title, which is a shame. While its Pursang motocross models are the real deal when it comes to vintage racing and collecting, we wouldn’t pass up this El Bandito 360 if we could buy it right. The predecessor to the Pursang, the Bandito is described by our own Rick “Super Hunky” Sieman as a machine worthy of reverence. As Sieman says, “it could spit rocks through windshields with ease, but it handled like someone left out the swingarm pivot bolt.” Still, Banditos are way rare, and Mecum is offering a clean example here. It might be worth seeing where the bidding goes on it. This Bandito could easily top $8000.
Our Max Bid: Follow The Bidding
The Mecum Antique and Classic Motorcycle Auction returns to Las Vegas, January 25-28. Here’s a dirty dozen for which we’d definitely raise our paddle.
