There was some skepticism that you would be able to stick with the Aldon Baker training program, but we have heard that you have shown some tremendous speed down there. Talk about your development. You went down there to take you career to the next level.
I definitely think that people’s perception of what I did off the track was definitely not what Aldon does. I feel that, for the most part, we have clicked. We have a good group down there. We’ve got Ryan [Dungey], We’ve got Marv [Musquin], and we’ve just been hammering away since Monster Cup. this year I’ve felt good on the track, and I rode my bicycle and did my pushups, and I think that coming into this A1 hopefully we can get on the podium like we did last year. I think that would be cool, and I think our new Husqvarna bike is pretty killer, as you saw at Monster Cup.
You have a new addition on your team this year in Dave Arnold [former Team Honda manager]. Have you noticed an effect of him being on the team?
For the most part I know that Dave Arnold is awesome and our bike is awesome, so have things been really good? Yeah. The development on the bike and everything that we have on it, and where are bike is at right now is in a good place. Having him is cool, and obviously he is a pretty legendary dude, and he has been around for awhile, so it’s cool to have him on our side and helping us out. It has been good.
