2018 KTM Dual Sport Models Announced

KTM updates its dual sport family with upgraded WP Xplor suspension and optimized chassis for on-/off-road performance; choose from among three models.

KTM is once again offering three dual-sport models for 2018, including the 2018 KTM 250 EXC-F, 2018 KTM 350 EXC-F and the 2018 KTM 501 EXC-F. All three models boast updates to their WP Xplor suspension along with new radiator guards designed to offer better airflow to the radiator for maximum cooling.

KTM claims that the 2018 250 EXC-F has no equal in the quarter-liter dual sport category. Among its features is a lightweight Chromoly frame that boasts hight torsional rigidity and less longitudinal stiffness to match the updated WP Xplor front fork and shock. Its DOHC, 249.1cc engine is designed to rev to 12,800 rpm while offering excellent power on both pavement in the dirt.

The 2018 KTM 350 EXC-F marries the best attributes of a 250cc machine with those of a 450cc or 500cc machine, delivering an excellent power-to-weight ratio Its DOHC, 349.7cc DOHC engine features a new compact design, light camshafts, a short connecting rod and 42mm throttle Keihin throttle body. Its Chromoly steel chassis has also been updated and features revised WP Xplor suspension.

The big block of the bunch, the 2018 KTM 500 EXC-F is designed to be compact yet powerful. Its 510.4 cc SOHC engine is fitted into A Chromoly steel chassis held up by a WP-developed Xplor fork and shock.
