Wilson finally made his return to competition at the La Crescent Wine Millville National in Millville, Minnesota, on July 16, and at the Peterson CAT Washougal National in Washougal, Washington, July 23, he put together 8-10 moto scores to finish ninth overall in the 450cc class.
Wilson is expected to compete in this weekend’s Unadilla National in New Berlin, New York, the first of a three-race dash toward the completion of the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.
