The following is from Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., regarding its victorYZone video, which teases a forthcoming new youth motorcycle, which is set to be announced in February 2018, and it doesn’t take a genius to catch the hint that the new model will be a 2018 Yamaha YZ65.
Yamaha has continued to enjoy successful sales with its Yamaha YZ85 model, but the company does not have a model to compete with the Kawasaki KX65. That appears set to change in 2018. A YZ65 would be a welcome addition to Yamaha’s comprehensive lineup of motocross and off-road motorcycles, and we’d be stoked to see it. A YZ65 is something that has been a long-time coming. To our recollection, Yamaha hasn’t produced a two-stroke motocross machine of lesserr displacement than the YZ80/85 since the YZ60 of the 1980s.
Cypress, CA – December 13, 2017 – Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, today introduced a new “Step into the victorYZone” video via their website and social media channels. The video alludes to an exciting new youth motocross model.
