KTM Announces 2015 SXS Models

If you want you’re kid to look and feel like the next Ryan Dungey, KTM has a trio of special SXS mini models that can help.

KTM has announced three special SXS mini models for aspiring young racers. The models take the proven power and reliability of the Austrian company’s SX models a step further with increased performance and more bombastic bling, courtesy of KTM’s PowerParts catalog.

2015 50 SXS, $5099

The 50 SXS is fitted with a special KTM/FMF Factory SXS exhaust pipe and Factory SXS silencer, and its 19mm Dellorto carburetor also features special settings. Out back, its WP SXS piggyback reservoir shock is preload, compression and rebound adjustable, just like the big boy KTMs. The KTM 50 SXS also comes with a host of trick KTM PowerParts, including an Orange Anodized Billet Ignition Cover, Orange Anodized Billet Clutch Cover with easy access clutch adjustability, Orange Anodized Billet Chain Guide, Orange Anodized Billet Chain Adjuster and Axle Holder. The 50 SXS’ rear brake is upgraded with the use of PowerParts Sintered Rear Brake Pads. Adding to the bike’ stylish looks are a Renthal Orange Anodized 38-tooth Rear Sprocket and an SXS Special Edition Graphics Kit.

2015 65 SXS, $5399

The 65 SXS takes on a whole new level of serious with its KTM/FMF Factory SXS exhaust pipe and silencer, and it also receives new SXS carburetor settings. Additional KTM PowerParts include a personalized Orange Anodized Billet Ignition Cover, PowerParts Orange Anodized Billet Chain Guide, PowerParts Orange Anodized Billet Case Guard and PowerParts Holeshot Device. Those items are already enough to help the 65 SXS also takes on a more trick factory appearance, but it also gets a Renthal Orange Anodized 47-tooth Rear Sprocket
SXS Special Edition Graphics Kit.

2015 85 SXS, $6199

KTM might sell the coolest 85cc motocross bike on the planet already, but the SXS treatment takes it to a new level. The 85 is fitted with a KTM/FMF Factory SXS exhaust pipe and silencer, and its ignition is enhanced via an SXS KTM factory ignition module. Since it’s going to be faster, KTM also wanted the 85 SXS to stop more efficiently, so it gets oversized front and rear brake rotors, a 240mm up front and a 230mm out back. Like its little sisters, the 85 SXS is also dolled up with a number of KTM PowerParts, including a Personalized Orange Anodized Billet Ignition Cover, Orange Anodized Billet Clutch Cover, Orange Anodized Billet Case Guard, Holeshot Device a Renthal Orange Anodized 46T Rear Sprocket, and an SXS Special Edition Graphic Kit.
