Who doesn’t wish they had a time machine so they could go back and watch some of their favorite moto heroes of yesteryear mix it up one more time?

If you are one of those people who loves to see motocross’ golden greats don their helmets and take to the track, then you are going to want to be at the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship season-ending Bud Light Iromman National for the Legends Race at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana, August 22.

Legends such as former Lucas Oil premier-class champions Ricky Carmichael and Jeff Stanton, as well as beloved veterans Tim Ferry and Kevin Windham are scheduled to race the intriguing Legends Race, which will kick off the Pro action at Ironman Raceway on August 22, at 12 Noon ET during an afternoon where the Lucas Oil 250cc and 450cc Pro Motocross Champions will be crowned.

As the newest venue on the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship circuit, the Crawfordsville, Indiana, facility, located not far from the fabled Indianapolis Motor Speedway, will not only serve as the final battleground of the summer-long championship, but will allow some of the sport’s most successful names showcase their talents years after they hung up their racing boots.

Four of the most successful riders the sport has ever known, both in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship and FIM/AMA Supercross series, Carmichael, Stanton, Ferry and Windham all have multiple class wins and at least one championship in AMA motocross and supercross.

More Legends will be announced to join the lineup before the August 22 race.

In addition to the professional action on the track, the Bud Light Ironman National will also feature a full slate of amateur competition, bookending the pros on Friday, August 21, and Sunday, August 22. A two-moto format is scheduled for both days, with the Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) finale highlighting Friday’s racing and the Hoosier State Championship taking place Sunday.
