Aftermarket protective gear, apparel and accessory giant Alpinestars has released three new products for Summer 2016, with one product neatly matching one of those aforementioned categories.
Alpinestars BNS Tech Carbon Neck Support, $349.95
The new BNS Tech Carbon Neck Support is engineered to help prevent neck injury and minimize the risk of collateral damage in a crash, the Bionic Neck Support (BNS) Tech Carbon is constructed from an advanced carbon polymer to give it optimized frame strength and light weight. The BNS Tech Carbon functions when the rider’s helmet makes contact with the frame at the moment of a crash. The brace is intended to provide a clean, solid surface that instantly channels compressive impact energy away from the neck and onto the BNS. The BNS Tech Carbon’s features include a quick-release locking system and a rear stabilizer that is designed to offer additional protection to the spine. The BNS Tech can be worn in all forms of off-road riding.

Alpinestars Stella Bionic Jacket, $249.95
Designed specifically for the ladies, the Stella Bionic Jacket is an ultra-lightweight, highly ventilated jacket. The Stella Bionic features Alpinestars’ new “grid” protection technology that is CE certified and intended to add resistance to impact and roost. The jacket incorporates PU backing foam throughout, and it also features a newly developed kidney belt.
