Bell has just released a variety of interesting new custom colors on its popular line of motocross and off-road helmets, some of them in collaboration with the industry’s most recognized custom helmet painters. Four of these snazzy graphic splashes are available on the company’s flagship Bell Moto-9 Flex helmet model.
Of the new releases, riders can choose the Jeremy McGrath Replica, produced in collaboration with the man most recognize as the king of custom helmet painters, Troy Lee, who has built an empire out of his Troy Lee Designs shop.
Kawasaki fans might also dig the new Monster Pro Circuit ’17 that is being worn by the Kawasaki factory-backed 250SX team members (Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Eli Tomac also wears a Bell helmet).
If off-road racing is more your taste than motocross, Bell also offers a Day in the Dirt commemorative model, complete with Fasthouse graphics.
Last but not least, the Seven Rogue should appeal to James Stewart fans. The McGrath, Pro Circuit and Day in the Dirt models are retailing for $699.95, while the Seven Rogue is $649.95
Here is what Bell says about the Moto-9 Flex:
With the Moto-9 Flex, Bell is committed to providing purpose-built solutions that provide across-the-board head protection for the modern rider. So when it came to evolving the race proven Moto-9, we wanted to re-think fit and build on the helmet’s longstanding ability to manage energy. We’re pleased to report, we did. Leveraging the segmented liner from our Segment bike helmet, we sought to achieve a more personalized, adaptive fit, for a wide variety of head shapes. In creating a first-of-its-kind 3 layer impact liner, we utilized a revolutionary combination of polymer materials to provide a “progressive” energy management system that’s designed to absorb low, mid and high energy impacts. When it came to testing, our initial Flex samples outperformed any other motocross helmet we’ve tested to date. The result is no accident, the Moto-9 Flex is the most advanced helmet we’ve ever made and is quickly setting a new level for rider protection in motocross and off-road racing.
