Precision Concepts’ Robby Bell finished off the 2015 Rocky Mountain MC World Off-Road Championship Series presented by Maxxis and Dirt Bike season with another win, putting an exclamation point on a championship-winning season during the final round of the series at Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino, Sunday.

Bell grabbed the holeshot in the Pro race, followed by Precision Concepts teammate Justin Seeds, but Hinson/Honda-backed Justin Jones asserted himself and overtook both riders to move into the lead early. Bell retook the lead when Jones came in for a scheduled pit stop, and Bell was able to remain out front to the finish.

Exiting WORCS Champion Gary Sutherlin also had a strong day, charging for the entire race to claim second place ahead of Seeds. Sutherlin actually cut into Bell’s lead in the closing stages of the race, but it was too little too late to mount a bid for the win. Sutherlin’s runner-up finish mirrors his finish in the 2015 WORCS Championship points race.

Justin Seeds earned his second WORCS podium finish of the season by finishing third. His first podium of the year came at the same venue in February. RPM/KTM’s Travis Coy was fourth, and that moved him into the top three in the WORCS Pro Championships points in what was his rookie year. Coy is a former WORCS Pro 2 Champion.

Dalton Shirey grabbed the holeshot in the Pro 2 class and ran off with the win. Michael Del Fante finished second, and Travis Damon was third.

Logan Chambers won the race Pro 2 Lites race at Primm and also claimed the class championship. Thor Amador and Mitch Anderson rounded out the top three at the season finale.

The 2015 Rocky Mountain MC World Off-Road Championship Series presented by Maxxis and Dirt Bike is now complete, but the 2016 WORCS season is already just around the corner. The 2016 season opener is scheduled to take place January 15-17 at Honolulu Hills in Taft, California.
