4. ANSR AR1, $139.95
ANSR made itself a candidate for our Best Dirtbike Boots Under $400 because it boasts that its AR1 motocross boot offers more high-quality features than any other boot in its price range. A combination of synthetics, plastic and high performance textiles, the AR1 upper is designed to be light yet durable and protective. It is stitched to a four-layer sole system with a steel shank for strength and support. The AR1 is claimed to weigh 3.65 lbs. each in Size 10.
ANSR also claims that the AR1 is the only MX boot on the market to feature a shock-absorbing D3O insole. The insole combines D3O Lite material with a D3O Decell heel insert for shock absorption and impact protection to reduce the risk of lower leg injuries.
Other AR1 features include four adjustable steel/plastic buckles that can be replaced if damaged, an injection-molded plastic shin guard and rear plates, an articulated rear ankle area, uni-directional cut sole specifically for motocross, thick ankle padding covered in vented material for air movement and foot bed forefoot holes for air-flow and breathability.
The ANSR AR1 is available in Black or White, and in sizes 7-14.
