Team Babbitt’s Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Chris Blose enjoyed a perfect night, posting two main event wins to dominate the fourth stop of the 2015 AMSOIL Arenacross Series at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennesee, Saturday night.

Blose, who was forced to miss a round of the series due to injury, was in fine form at Brridgestone Arena as he pulled the holeshot to take the lead in the first main event. Husqvarna TiLUBE TUF Racing’s Kyle Regal, Babbitt’s Online/Reynard Mods Suzuki’s Cory Green and Team Babbitt’s Monster Energy Kawasaki teammates Matt Goerke and Jacob Hayes ran in the top five. Blose maintained a consistent margin over Regal for the entire 15-lap race to land his third main event win of the season. Regal was second and Hayes was third. Green held on for fourth with ThermoTec Yamaha’s Bobby Kiniry fifth

Kiniry took the early lead in the second main event, but Blose was right behind him in second place. Hayes, A&Y Racing Honda’s Daniel Herrlein, and Regal rounded out the top five, while Goerke looked to rebound with a seventh-place start. Blose made his move on Kiniry on lap four to take over the lead. Hayes also made passed Kiniry, whose troubles weren’t over, as he made mistakes that dropped him all the way back to sixth place.

The Team Babbitt’s trio appeared to be on their way to a podium sweep until Goerke crashed after the finish on lap nine, allowing Regal to move into third place. Goerke would crash again and fall to the rear of the field just two laps later.

Blose was practically untouchable, and took the checkered flag ahead of Hayes with Regal third. Herrlein was fourth, and Motosport.com/Haeseker Racing KTM’s Gared Steinke was fifth.

Blose’s pair of main event wins, combined with his RMATV/MC Head 2 Head Challenge win over Regal earlier in the evening, gave him the overall win and 34 points for the night. Hayes’ consistent 3-2 results tied him with Regal for second (2-3), but Hayes earned the runner-up spot by virtue of his better finish in the second main event. Herrlein (6-4) and Kiniry (5-6) completed the top five.

Goerke’s hard luck also cost him possession of the Arenacross Class points lead. Goerke brought a 12-point advantage into Nashville, but leaves facing a nine-point deficit to Hayes, who leads the championship for the second time this season. Regal maintained his control of third, 19 points behind Hayes. Blose’s victory vaulted him from seventh to fourth, 39 points back.

TZR Woodstock KTM’s Josh Osby captured the holeshot to start the 15-lap Eastern Regional Arenacross Lites Class Main Event, ahead of Herrlein, Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green’s Mitchell Harrison, Hillview Motorsports Suzuki’s Steve Roman and Spinechillers Racing KTM’s Dave Ginolfi. Herrlein moved into the lead in the whoops on on lap two and was soon followed by Harrison. Ginolfi passed his way to the front of the field, taking advantage of a small mistake by Harrison to take the lead on lap 13. Ginolfi held on to the win, followed by Road to Supercross contenders Harrrison and Tristan Charboneau .

Ginolfi’s win, combined with Herrlein’s trouble, allowed the KTM rider to take the lead in the Eastern Regional Arenacross Lites championship standings. He carries a one-point lead over Herrlein, while Roman, who finished fourth, sits in third, 20 points back.

The 2015 AMSOIL Arenacross season continues next weekend with the fifth round of the season from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza on Friday, February 6, and Saturday, February 7. Both nights of action kick off at 4 p.m. PST/7 p.m. EST.
