KTM

KTM started as a humble repair shop in Austria in 1934. After the Second World War, the company began producing motorcycles. The business was acquired in 1953 by Ernst Kornreif, and the company soon began to race, winning national championships and earning a gold medal in the 1956 International Six Days Enduro. Today, KTM's motorcycle business is a subsidiary of Cross Industries, and one of Europe's largest manufacturers. Known for its orange color and "Ready to Race" slogan, KTM is a major player in motocross and supercross racing, and its dominance in the Dakar Rally. KTM's motocross lineup includes the SX-F four-strokes and the SX two-strokes. The enduro line includes the EXC and EXC-F four-strokes, and the XC and XC-W two-stroke machines.
