Still one of the big players in the market, Bridgestone continues to churn out tires for fitment on motocross and off-road machines. The company’s Battlecross X30 and X40 lines utilize technology learned from the MXGP circuit and even Formula-1 automobile racing in pursuit of the ultimate dirtbike tires.
The Battlecross X30 and X40 rear tire utilizes Bridgestone’s Castle Block technology, which features molded convex blocks to give more edge effect to the tire for increased acceleration and cornering grip. Bridgestone’s “cooling fin” technology also helps to keep the tires’ operating temperatures down for more consistent performance. The ront treads feature blocks molded left to right asymmetrically to aid stability during braking and hard acceleration while providing good grip at all camber angles.
