Its fiberglass reinforced polyamide resin chassis is mated with injected foam padding that is more durable and easier to clean than ever before. Both the front and the back feature new split designs that widen and disperse energy being transmitted to the body and have new molded padding for greater comfort. The GPX 5.5 features a pop-off shoulder pad that can raise or lower the brace to tailor the proper fit. The new rear thoracic strut is more comfortable than ever and, if broken in an impact, replaced. The brace is CE certified as Personal Protective Equipment 89/686/EEC.
