9. Sidi Crossfire 2 SRS Motocross Boots
Sidi’s Crossfire 2 SRS boots push the envelope of the Italian company’s design, safety, and comfort know-how. The boots are an upgrade from even the Crossfire boot by virtue of their new Dual Hinge System, which is designed to allow maximum mobility front to back while maintaining strict rigidity from side to side. For riders who rely on knee braces, the Crossfire 2’s Dual Flex System upper offers an excellent fit. The SRS’s signature “Sole Replacement System” allows riders to not only replace their soles when they wear out, but they can also swap between SuperMoto, MX, and Adventure Touring soles with a simple screwdriver. Crossfire 2 SRS Motocross Boots are constructed of Lorica, a synthetic leather that is 1/1000th the thickness of silk, but that the company claimes to have higher abrasion resistance and better breathability than natural leather. Sidi says that all the Crossfire’s bolt-on parts are replaceable, including the shin plate, a Sidi-patented feature. The Crossfire 2 SRS is available in multiple color choices and in sizes 7-13.
