Looking for the ultimate exhaust system and not constrained by a budget? You might want to check out one of Yoshimura’s RS-2 systems in titanium and carbon fiber. These featherweight exhaust systems utilize design features evolved from Yosh’s TRC systems, and they are engineered to provide increased power and power delivery. The header and tail pipe are made of titanium, while the muffler is made of carbon fiber and features a stainless steel cone end-cap. The muffler features a pyramidal shape that is claimed to deliver increased volume, yet the RS-2 is a quieter system, even with with a larger core, because it uses more muffler packing than previous units. The unit shown here (muffler only shown) fits Honda’s CRF450X, but Yoshimura makes systems for most popular late model dirtbikes.
