KTM lands four of the top five spots as Jesse Groemm claims his first AMA National Enduro win.
Dirtwise KTM support rider Jesse Groemm stood atop an AMA National Enduro podium for the first time in his career after winning round seven of the AMA National Enduro Series, the Rattesnake National Enduro hosted by the Brandywine Enduro Riders in Cross Fork, Pennsylvania, Sunday.
Groemm was strong right out of the gate as he set the fastest times through the first two special test sections, and he would maintain his early momentum by running among the top three in the remaining special. He was second fastest in the third test and then went on to win the next two sections, winning the fifth special test by 14 seconds over the next fastest competitor. While Groemm “cruised” to third in the final special test, he still earned the event win by a 54-second margin of victory.
“It feels great to get a win at this race,” Groemm said. “My Dirtwise KTM team has been great this whole season. I got on the podium at the first round, and I am glad to land on the top step now and help move myself up in the series point standings.”
The next round of the series is scheduled for August 10 in Grand Junction, Colorado.
