Gas Gas can provide privateer ISDE racers with bikes and service for the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Navarra, Spain.
With the 2016 ISDE taking place right in its backyard in Navarra, Spain, November 11-16, the recently rejuvenated Gas Gas is offering privateer riders who qualify for the event an option that will allow them to take part in the event without the logistical hassles.
The Spanish OEM is willing to provide bike rentals, pit service, or both, for a fee. According to the company, three options will be offered to make competing in Navarra easier, including a Racing Service package for riders who compete aboard their own Gas Gas motorcycles. The Racing Service package includes pit support and technical assistance (in accordance with FIM rules, of course). Riders will receive access to tools, fuel on race days, provisions at the service points, spare parts service (tires and spare parts cost additional dinero), access to the factory and catering services. The price for the Racing Service has been set at 1000 Euros (about $1127) plus a Value Added Tax (VAT).
The second option is simply to rent a Gas Gas motorcycle for the event. For 2000 Euros (about $2250) plus VAT, Gas Gas’ Rental Bike program will provide the renter with new Gas Gas EC300 or EC250 two-stroke model for the event. Gas Gas says that each rental machine will be properly registered and insured for the event, and the renter will have the option to purchase his or her bike at a discounted price after the event. Pony up 3000 Euros (about $3377) plus VAT for the ISDE Full Pack Racing package and you get both the rental bike and the racing service.
