Jackson Motorsports Group to offer awards for Michelin users in all motorcycle classes at Bud Light SCORE Baja 500.
Race tire distributor Jackson Motorsports Group (JMG) announced today that it has expanded its tire sales portfolio to include Michelin Desert Racing motorcycle tires at the 2015 Bud Light SCORE Baja 500, and it is posting contingency awards for riders who purchase Michelin tires through JMG.
In addition to its service expansion and contingency program, JMG also sponsors the Honda team of Colton Udall, who won the SCORE Baja Sur 500 on Michelin tires provided by Jackson Motorsports Group. Jackson Motorsports Group Executive Director of Business Development Todd Steen said that the program clarifies JMG’s goals with regard to promoting off-road racing.
“Our recent victory with Colton Udall at the SCORE Baja Sur 500 event combined with our expanding tire sales and this new contingency program are evidence that we intend to continue growing our involvement in desert racing,” Steen said.
Jackson will offer contingency support to any rider on Michelin motorcycle tires purchased through JMG. To be eligible for payout of the contingency award, racers must also sign up for SCORE contingency and register online at www.SCORE-International.com.
