Reigning Monster Energy AMA 250cc West Supercross Champion and member of the all-new Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Team is scheduled to make his debut on the factory Husqvarna FC 450 at the MX24 International Supercross in Stockholm, Sweden, Saturday, October 11.

According to his team, Anderson’s appearance at the event is symbolic for two reasons. Not only will he compete aboard his Husqvarna for the first time, but he will also do it in Sweden, the birthplace of the Husqvarna brand.

The MX24 International Supercross will be a good competitive shakedown for the New Mexico native, who is stepping up to the 450cc class for the 2015 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series and the 2015 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. The MX24 track is a full-scale supercross track that has been built by American track designers in the Swedish capital’s state-of-the-art Tele Arena. The track layout will feature whoops, triple jumps and rhythm sections that are expected to challenge Anderson and other top riders from both sides of the Atlantic.

According to the team, Anderson is known for his ability to maintain his aggression and focus throughout the race and for his skill in making winning passes in the final stage of a race, guaranteeing excitement for the Swedish fans.
