Jay Clark doesn’t just build custom dirtbikes for a living, he lives the sport of dirtbike riding, and one of his favorites haunts is southern Utah, far from the madding crowds that make up the California dirtbike riding scene.
In one of his latest videos, Clark joins family and friends for some epic riding in the scenic desert regions of Southern Utah and Arizona. This particular clip of Clark’s Thanksgiving “Motocation” shows footage of the Sand Hollow State Park. Located near the town of Hurricane, this southern Utah OHV Park offers a tasty mix of red sand dunes and trails for OHV enthusiasts, encompassing 6000 acres, according to the Utah State Parks website, making it a choice destination for off-road riders.
Sand Hollow hosts annual off-road racing, as it is an annual stop on the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) schedule.
Sand Hollow is located approximately 15 miles east of St. George and seven miles east of the I-15 Hurricane Exit. To visit the area, exit Interstate 15 at Exit 16 (Highway 9), travel east for about four miles and turn right on Sand Hollow Road. Travel south for about three more miles and turn left at the park entrance.
