Kyle Chisholm joins the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Racing Team for the 2016 Monster Energy AMA Supercross and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross series.
Rocky Mountain ATV/MC today announced the signing of AMA supercross and motocross veteran Kyle Chisholm to the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Racing Team for the 2016 racing season.
Chisholm, who resides in Seminole, Florida, will join Bracken Hall (#792) for the 2016 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series, and the team announced that it has expanded its program to include the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship as well.
Often described as one of the most underrated riders on the AMA professional circuit, the 28-year-old Chisholm finished 14th in the 2015 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series and 11th in the 2015 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Chisholm’s best round finish in the 2015 supercross series came at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where finished eighth. His best year came in 2010 when he finished 10th and sixth respectively in those series.
Chisholm will compete in the 450SX class aboard Honda CRF450Rs, marking the first time that he has raced Hondas professionally during his career. O’Neal will be the official gear sponsor and Dunlop the official tire sponsor for the team.
“We’re thrilled to have Kyle Chisholm join the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Racing Team,” said Dan Thomas, CEO and Founder of Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. “He’ll be a great addition to the team along with Bracken Hall. With both of them on the team this year, we’re excited to see what the new supercross season brings.”
