The Forest Service has begun the 90-day public comment period for the draft environmental impact statement and draft forest plans for the Inyo, Sequoia and Sierra National Forests. During this time, they are holding public meetings, tribal forums and a webinar to engage with you in discussions about these documents. The public is welcome to attend these events. Please take note of these updates!

• Sequoia National Forest Public Meeting Venue change: The location for the August 3rd Public Meeting on the Sequoia National Forest has changed to the Double Tree Bakersfield (Hilton) 3100 Camino Del Rio Ct., Bakersfield, CA 93308

• Public Webinar Registration: If you plan to attend the public webinar scheduled for Tuesday, June 28th from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., you need to register online in advance of the webinar. You can do so via this link: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/7694478403371813122

• Species of Conservation Concern lists: Corrected species of conservation concern lists have been posted to the project website: http://tinyurl.com/r5earlyadopters
