Pro Circuit develops a new camshaft set to boost horsepower and torque in the 2016 Suzuki RM-Z250 engine.
While the Suzuki RM-Z is an excellent-handling, well-suspended motocross machine, the power output from its DOHC Single is not its strongest asset, but the experts at world-renowned aftermarket power house Pro Circuit are aiming to change that.
Pro Circuit has developed a new set of cams specifically for the 2016 RM-Z250 (these cams do not interchange with the 2010-2015 RM-Z250 cams). Featuring the same research and development time and build quality as the numerous Pro Circuit parts already used by many factory race teams, the Pro Circuit RM-Z250 camshafts are designed to provide superior performance over the stock cams by optimizing the valve lift profile, which boosts the horsepower and torque output of the RM-Z250 engine.
Pro Circuit notes that its camshafts must be used with Pro Circuit valve springs (sold separately) to ensure a valve train free of dynamic bounce. In addition, camshaft timing should be set by a certified mechanic to ensure proper function. Pro Circuit warns that improper installation could result in engine failure.
