The globally recognized Nitro Circus action sports fest will return the U.S. in 2016.
Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus Live will return to the U.S. next year as part of a just-announced 2016 North American tour, according to the show promoter.
Billed as the most explosive event in extreme sports, Nitro Circus Live will play more than 40 dates across North America, all in first-time markets, starting next spring, starting with Albuquerque, New Mexico’s University Stadium on April 22, 2016. Tickets for the Albuquerque show go on sale October 23.
The Nitro Circus Live experience will feature 30 of the best athletes in freestyle motocross (FMX), BMX and more, riding just about anything with wheels. Fans will witness the riders launching 50 feet into the air as they perform spectacular choreographed riding routines. Highlights include the show’s famous “Nitro Bomb,” routine, which features multiple athletes flipping simultaneously wheel-to-wheel, mere inches apart.
Nitro Circus Live has sold out legendary arenas such as Madison Square Garden in New York and the O2 Arena in London. More than 35,000 people packed Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium, site of the 2010 soccer World Cup final, for a massive 2014 show; 45,000 filled Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, the second highest attendance of any touring act at that venue. Now, Albuquerque fans do not want to miss their chance to see Nitro Circus Live.
