Check out the website and new teaser for the “On Any Sunday” movie sequel, “On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter.”
Bruce Brown’s 1971 film, “On Any Sunday” opened the eyes of the world to the sport of motorcycling and its rich culture in much the same way that his 1966 documentary “The Endless Summer” did the same for the sport of surfing. A major part of the appeal of “On Any Sunday” was its personal, behind-the-scenes look at the men and machines that thrilled audiences around the globe. “On Any Sunday” was so influental that it even garnered the attention of the Hollywood elite by earning an Academy Award nomination for Documentary Feature.
Today, Brown’s son, Dana, whose own unique vision has birthed amazing documentaries such as surfing’s amazing “Step into Liquid” and the off-road racing classic, “Dust to Glory,” is in the home stretch of his latest endeavor, “On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter.” The film promises to take the Brown family’s skill for storytelling to the next level by teaming up with two industry leaders, Red Bull Media House and Freeride Entertainment, to tell motorcycling’s story once again.
Red Bull Media House produces and distributes high-quality programming that fuels inspiration worldwide, including standout commercial film releases like “Mount St. Elias”, “The Art of Flight” and “McConkey”. Born from the lifestyle of adventure sports and high-end action filmmaking, Freeride Entertainment’s award-winning portfolio includes previous hit productions for Red Bull Media House such as “Where the Trail Ends.” Bringing his original passion to this new production, Bruce Brown is also on board as executive producer.
