5. Johnny Campbell
One of the most decorated members of this list, Johnny Campbell is a virtual god in SCORE Baja racing. The factory Honda star has more motorcycle victories south of the border than anyone, including an amazing string of nine consecutive overall wins in the Baja 1000 from 1997-2005, and he added two more in 2007 and 2008. He also has four more wins in the Baja 500 as well as numerous SCORE overall motorcycle points titles both as a rider and a team owner. Stateside, Campbell was also a four-time Best in the Desert Champion, and he won the now-defunct Nevada Rally in 1995 and the AMA District 37 Best in the West title in 1996. He has also contested the Dakar Rally. A talented rider, Campbell is equally renowned for his logistical skills and as a race strategist in long and grueling desert events.
