4. He shows no quarter.
Supercross racing legend Bob “Hurricane” Hannah used to “hate” his competition in order to motivate himself to dominate them. Maybe Jason Anderson doesn’t go that far, but his on-track actions speak for themselves. We only need to look back at the 2017 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series finale in Las Vegas as evidence. Two-time AMA Supercross Champion Chad Reed was on a charge toward the front of the pack late in the main event, and he not only had a shot at the podium, he also had a chance to mix it up with title contenders Eli Tomac and Ryan Dungey for the win. Respected veteran or not, Reed got no respect from Anderson, who took out Reed in a corner and knocked him to the ground. Some fans may find that distasteful. Others love it. In either case, Anderson isn’t afraid to play the role of villain.
