The N-Fab/AmPro/Yamaha bLU cRU Off-Road team will include three riders for 2016.
The N-Fab/AmPro/Yamaha bLU cRU off-road racing team will head into action with three riders in 2016, beginning with the opening round of the 2016 Kenda AMA National Enduro Championship Series in Wedgefield, South Carolina, February 7.
Owned by seven-time AMA Pro Enduro Champion, 13-Time ISDE Gold Medalist, and AMA Hall of Fame Member Randy Hawkins, the 2016 N-Fab/AmPro/Yamaha bLU cRU off-road racing team consists of Grant Baylor of Belton, South Carolina, Daniel Milner of Australia and new recruit Nick Davis of Meshoppen, Pennslvania.
Baylor was the 2015 GNCC XC1 runner-up, 2015 AMA National Enduro runner-up, and is a two-time GNCC XC2 Champion. He will race the all-new Yamaha YZ450FX in both GNCC XC1 and the Kenda AMA National Enduro Championship Series for 2016. Milner is a four-time and defending Australian Four-Day Enduro Champion and a former Australian Off-Road Champion. He, too, will race a YZ450FX in GNCC XC1, and he will also contest the Kenda Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series. New to the team for 2016, Davis scored four GNCC XC2 wins and two additional podiums in 2015. He’ll race a YZ250FX in both GNCC XC2 and AMA National Enduro for 2016.
Donnie Luce, Amateur MX/ATV/Off-Road Coordinator for Yamaha Motor Corporation, said that the 2016 season marks a truly exciting milestone in the company’s partnership with the N-Fab/AmPro team.
“It’s the first time that the entire team will be mounted on off-road-specific models,” Luce said. “The new YZ250FX and YZ450FX models were designed specifically for off-road racing, and we’ve assembled a talented group of young riders to showcase these new models in the most prestigious and challenging off-road racing series in the U.S.”
