If you read our 2018 Kawasaki KX250F First Ride Review, you know that Kawasaki’s work to improve the quarter-liter KX’s top-end performance has been well worthwhile, but it still doesn’t feel quite as robust as some of the other bikes in its class. According to Yoshimura R&D, there’s a simple enough solution for that.
Yoshimura R&D’s Signature Series full exhaust system for the 2018 Kawasaki KX250F is designed to boost KX performance across the rev range. Yoshimura says that the signature series is the the answer for today’s dealer who is faced with a challenging marketplace. The applications for the Signature Series line cover the entire powersports spectrum, including most motocross and off-road applications. The Signature Series for the KX250F incorporates all of the know-how and craftsmanship that Yooshimura incorporates into its championship-winning exhaust systems, and all Signature Series components are tested, documented, and marked as required by federal and state regulations.
Yoshimura claims that the RS-4 SS (stainless steel) full system weighs in at 8.1 lbs, a full .4 lbs. less than the stock Kawasaki KX250F exhaust system, and you can go even lighter if you opt for the factory-trick Ti header/muffler and carbon-fiber model or Ti header and carbon-fiber muffler/endcap. If you’re serious about performance, chances are good there’s KX250F Signature Series system available to fit your budget.
